“Moose” was issued in 2009. It is the 9th in a series of 9 colored gold coins minted between 2007-2009 to commemorate the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. It depicts a moose with a full spread of antlers standing by a wooded hillside in early winter. The obverse features the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the Inukshuk, the official symbol of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The Inukshuk is a traditional northern greeting of warmth and friendship.
