The 6th chapter of the Book of Revelations tells of a scroll at God’s right hand, sealed with seven seals. The opening of the first 4 seals release the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse Silver Bullion Series. This Provident Original series consists of four designs that feature on 1 oz Silver Rounds, 1 oz Copper Rounds, and a 10 oz Silver Bar. Each round will feature one of the Four Horsemen, and the 10 oz Silver Bar will feature all of the horsemen.

Description

The first release in this series is the White Horse of Conquest, which features the rider astride the White Horse holding a bow with an arrow pulled back. Available: March 8, 2017 – July 1, 2017

The White Horse of Conquest 1 oz is the first release in Provident Metals’ new Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse series.

The White Horse of Conquest is poised for battle on the obverse. The rider, who is thought to be representative of Christ, pulls back on his bowstring as he seeks to conquer in the name of peace and religion. An inscription of “WHITE HORSE OF CONQUEST” lies along the upper rim, while a bow and arrow privy mark sits below the horse’s belly.

The reverse, which is common to all rounds in the series, features a crest with each of the horsemen’s privy marks. Behind the crest, four horses rear up. Around the rim, you will find inscriptions of “THE FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE”


The second release in the series is the Red Horse of War. The obverse of this round features the rider with a great war sword drawn while he sits atop the Red Horse. Available: July 1, 2017 – October 1, 2017

The third release is the Black Horse of Pestilence, which features an emaciated rider carrying a set of scales and riding the Black Horse. Available: October 1, 2017 – January 1, 2018

The forth release will be the Pale Horse of Death, which features a frightening Death astride an equally frightening horse. Available: January 1, 2018 – March 31, 2018

The Pale Horse of Death represents sickness and decay, as indicated by the horse’s sickly, greenish hue. A skeletal figure on an armored horse rides across the round’s obverse. The rider carries a large scythe and wears an hourglass around his neck. The inscription reads “PALE HORSE OF DEATH”, and you will find a privy mark of crossed scythes under the horse’s belly.
