New Mexico Statehood Golden Anniversary Silver Medal. This rare New Mexico Statehood Golden Anniversary .999 Silver Medal was struck in 1962 by the Medallic Art Company of New York. The obverse features a map of New Mexico overlaid with the state seal, while the reverse features the Ancient Zia sun symbol from the state flag surrounded by an inscription reading “New Mexico, 1912-1962, Golden Anniversary.” Edge-marked serial number 451.
