Minted from 1907-1933, the Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle was a gold coin with a face-value of $20. We have PCGS certified Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles in a variety of grades. Issued from the Philadelphia, Carson City, Denver, New Orleans and San Francisco U.S. Mints.
The coin was produced in three types. Type I is the “High Relief” variety, which was produced in 1907. Type II is the “No Motto” variety, which does not include the words “In God We Trust” below the eagle on the reverse. Type III, the “With Motto” variety, includes the words “In God We Trust” on the reverse.
