American Gold Eagle has a face-value of $50 and is guaranteed by the U.S. Government to contain 1 oz. of pure gold from American sources. The American Gold Eagle is also available in fractional amounts of 1/2 oz. ($25 face-value), 1/4 oz. ($10 face-value), and 1/10 oz. ($5 face-value) of pure gold from American sources.
