Description

“Grey Wolf” was issued in 2009. It is the 7th in a series of 9 colored gold coins minted between 2007-2009 to commemorate the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. It depicts the Grey Wolf with its distinctive yellow eyes and multi-colored fur; from pure white to various shades of grey, brown and black. The obverse features the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the Inukshuk, the official symbol of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The Inukshuk is a traditional northern greeting of warmth and friendship.
